A reduced number of local rugby matches this weekend, here is a look at how our sides faired.

In a reduced set of local rugby fixtures this Saturday, in the Regional one south west although the venue was reversed due to a frozen pitch at Polson    Exmouth Cockels could not take advantage of home soil and lost 23-12 to Cornish side Launceston.

But in the only game in Counties one western west Paignton easily beat visitors Wiveliscombe by 50 points to 13 at Queen's Park while in Counties two Devon ,Honiton comfortably accounted for visiting Exmouth Quins 43-15 at Allhallows and Exeter Saracens narrowly beat Torquay Athletic 15-13 at Exhibition fields .

Finally in Counties three Devon north and east Cullompton seconds won 34-0 against Newton Abbot Quins at Stafford Park and  Exeter Athletic beat visitors Torrington 28-20 at Oil Mill lane.
