Exmouth Cockles were well beaten 46 -25 by visiting Brixham at Imperial Road and now find themselves bottom of league with just one win from six game's.

In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional One South West Division Exmouth Cockles were well beaten 46 -25 by visiting Brixham at Imperial Road and now find themselves bottom of league with just one win from six game's but there was better news in the Regional Two Divison where Sidmouth move up to second place after a narrow 26-22 victory over Wellington at the Blackmore Field and are now just 2 points behind leaders Crediton who easily beat Newton Abbot at Rackerhays by 43 points to 20.

In the same division Teignmouth beat visitors Wadebridge Camels 17-13 at Bitton Park.

In the Counties One West Cullompton remain unbeaten at the top after a massive 76 points to 31 win over Plymouth side Plymstock Albion Oaks and Topsham remain in second place after their away victory over Cornish side Penryn by 36-29 but Tiverton were narrowly beaten 25-23 also in Cornwall by Bude at Bencolan.

In the Counties Two Devon League Withycombe won 21-14 at Anstey Park over Brixham Seconds and Exmouth Cockles Second Fifteen overcame a stubborn Torquay Athletic 38-34 at Recreation Ground but Honiton lost by a single point at Allhallows going down 45-44 to visiting Exeter Saracens 

Finally in Counties Three Devon East, Exeter Athletic beat visitors Buckfastleigh Ramblers 52-17 and Okehampton Second Fifteen overran their Sidmouth counterparts 43-3 at Oakland's.
