In Counties Two Devon Withycombe provided the result of the day beating leaders Tavistock 22-12 at Raleigh Park and move up to third.
In local rugby on Saturday, in the Regional One South West Division Exmouth Cockles got the win they desperately needed with a close fought 21-17 victory at Okehampton who were also hoping for a return to their early season form while in Regional Two Divison Sidmouth drop a place when they were beaten 29-14 at Cornish side Truro but Teignmouth overran bottom club Bridgwater Albion away by 55 points to 21 and runaway leaders Crediton easily beat visitors North Petherton 57-0 at Exhibition Road.
In the Counties One Western West Cullompton kept their 100 % record at the top of the Division with a thumping 99 points to 10 victory over struggling Falmouth at Stafford Park and Topsham continue to chase them with another runaway win over visiting Bude by 83-20 at the Bonfire Field but Tiverton had a much closer result beating Plymstock Albion Oaks 24-21 at Bolham Eoad.
