In the Peninsula League Cup Axminster Town beat Cornish side St Dennis at Tiger Way 4-1, Cullompton Rangers knocked out near neighbours Elmore while lowly Honiton got a rare home victory beating Plymouth Marjons by 5 goals to 2.
In the same competition Sidmouth Town lost by the same 5-2 score line against Falmouth Town at Mainston Road but Cullompton Rangers beat North Devon side Torridgeside.
