In local midweek football on Tuesday Sidmouth Town convincingly beat bottom of the table Axminster Town by 6 goals to nil at Manstone lane in the Peninsula league east while in the A&S Devon league Beer Albion won 3-1 over Ottery St Mary at Washbrook Meadow then last night Teignmouth fc beat Bovey Tracey 1-0 away at Mill Marsh park in the Peninsula league while Budleigh Salterton had a 2-1 victory over Newtown fc at Greenway lane in the Devon league.
Newly crowned regional champions set to face the best U15 teams in the country
St James School in Exeter have qualified for the national U15 flag football finals after being crowned regional champions. The team will now travel to Manchester to compete against the top teams from across the country.
