In the Devon County cup. on Tuesday night Teignmouth afc narrowly lost to Ilfracombe fc at Marlborough Park by 1 goal to nil with Newton Abbot Spurs surprisingly beating Southern league side Tiverton Town 2-0 at home .
On Wednesday evening Sidmouth Town caused another upset beating Bideford fc 3-1at Manstone Lane another Southern league team but Crediton Utd narrowly lost 1-0 to Buckland Athletic at Lords Meadow.
Exmouth Towns game with Cullompton Rangers was postponed due to a water logged pitch.
