In local football at the weekend Exmouth Town picked up a well deserved point at Tavistock Utd on Friday night, coming back from a 2-0 deficite at half time, goals from Ben Steer and Morgan Cullen tied the final score at 2 all.

In the Peninsula league east Axminster town had a surprise but well deserved win at league leaders Okehampton Argyle by 2 goals to 0,  Cullompton Rangers beat visitors Bovey Tracey 2-1 and Crediton Utd had the better of a 9 goal thriller winning 5-4 at Stoke Gabriel.

Elsewhere, in the Scott Richards Devon league Exmouth Town reserves played out a scoreless draw with visiting Braunton at Southern Road, Dawlish Utd lost 3-1 at home to league leaders Thorverton in the D&E premier division and Exmouth Rovers won 3-1 at a Feniton development eleven.

Several other games in the lower league's were postponed due to water logged grounds.
