In last night's ( Tuesday ) local football Exmouth Town survived a shock result at peninsula league Newton Abbot Spurs in the Devon St Luke's cup , with the scores locked at 3 goals each at full time Town eventually reached the next round winning 5-3 on penalties .
In other cup results Axminster town easily beat Elmore by 5 goals to 2 at Tigers way , Crediton Utd had a convincing 3-0 victory over Cullompton Rangers at Lord's Meadow and Barnstaple were awarded a home win over Sidmouth Town
