And at The British Track National Championships last night Will came home with the Silver Medal in the Men's Point Race!!!
Bronze for Josh Charlton and 6th for Jack Rootkin-Gray and 10th for Will Roberts!
Today Will is riding in Team Pursuit and defending his Scratch race title.
On joining Saint Piran Will said “ I love that Saint Piran is from the South West. Sadly the flag is black instead of green…(being from Devon). I’m really excited to see what we can do this year riding with many of my mates in a good development environment”
DS Steve Lampier said ” I have looked past the fact he worships a made up flag as Devonians were and rightfully jealous of us Cornish! Beyond that Will is another rider I have kept an eye on since his youth days. With his Track craft he is naturally fast making him perfect for the Tour series crits and also the Dutch races we have planned. Even with that i’m not pigeonholing him as I know he will get many wins across the board in lots of races in 2023”
