Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Bovey Tracey on Thursday 5 March.
Officers were called at around 1.20pm to Old Orchard at the junction with Le Molay-Littry Way, Bovey Tracey.
It was reported that a collision had occurred involved a grey Dacia Duster and a pedal cycle. The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver of the car left the scene prior to police arrival and was later located.
A woman in her 40s was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
