Police have been made aware of a gathering and possible disorder planned in the Teignmouth area on Friday and Saturday evening this week, notably Back Beach.
Officers are making enquiries and will be speaking to individuals believed to be involved.
Anti-social behaviour, disorder or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and as such they will have additional high visibility patrols in the area.
Stop searches for drugs and alcohol will also take place and they will utilise their section 35 dispersal powers if required. This approach will continue through the summer months.
If you have information which may assist their enquiries, please contact them on 101 quoting log 428 of 9 May.
