Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision on the A379, near Shaldon, Teignmouth.
Officers were called at 5.35pm on Monday 17 March to reports of a collision involving a Red Hyundai i20 and a silver Toyota Yaris.
As a result of this collision, a 23-year-old man sustained potentially life-threatening injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. His next of kin have been informed.
Three people sustained minor injuries and were checked over at Torbay Hospital.
The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene, officers thank the public for their patience while the investigation was carried out.
