Police remind drivers to adhere to Road Closure signs on A382

Police are asking drivers please don’t end up with a fine or trip to court for ignoring No Entry signs on the A382 through the ongoing roadworks.

The roadworks on the A382 have been in place for four weeks and Police would like to thank the majority of drivers who are being sensible and following the diversions, helping to ease congestion. Sadly, a large number of motorists are regularly driving through the No Entry restrictions on Ringslade Rd and Greycoat Lane. Please don’t disregard road traffic signs, they are there for safety reasons. Drivers who ignore diversions can expect a nasty surprise - police will continue to take action in the area.
