Newton Abbot residents are invited to experience their town like never before on Santa’s sleigh! Using cutting-edge virtual reality, visitors can glide over the town and explore exciting possibilities for its future.
This free, interactive event will take place at Sherborne House, Kingsteignton Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 2PF, on:
-
Thursday 11 December, 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM
-
Friday 12 December, 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM
-
Saturday 13 December, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

This initiative is part of a major regeneration project aimed at turning underused or disused brownfield sites into thriving spaces for homes and community facilities, including a potential new leisure centre. Attendees will have the chance to share their views on what they’d like to see in the town.
For those unable to attend, an online survey will be available on Teignbridge District Council’s website from Monday 8 December to Monday 2 February. Paper copies of the survey will also be available from Monday 8 December at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre and Newton’s Place.
Join us for a magical ride and make the most of this once-in-a-generation chance to shape the future of Newton Abbot.
