Police are aware there has been an increase of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) on Friday and Saturday evenings around Teignmouth seafront.
Over the last couple of weeks the police have increased their presence within the town of Teignmouth, to help reduce the amount of ASB. This weekend we confiscated a large amount of alcohol and dispersed the youths. Arrests were made and will be continued to be made as a response to the ASB and crime element.
On Friday evening we received multiple reports of youths riding mobility scooters in Teignmouth Town. A 15 and a 13 year old were arrested at the time on suspicion of theft. The 13 year old has been given bail conditions not to return to Teignmouth. The investigation is on going.
Positive action is being taken as we are taking this situation very seriously. If you experience any ASB / crime please report though 999 so swift action can be taken. Lets come together to help decrease the Anti-Social Behaviour and make Teignmouth and Dawlish the beautiful place that we all know it is.
