Temporary banking facilities have officially opened in Dawlish, marking a significant development for the Town.
After several years without a local bank branch, residents now have access to a new temporary Banking Hub at the Strand Centre. Operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, the hub offers a range of essential services, including cash withdrawals, cash and cheque deposits, utility bill payments, and account balance checks.
Registered business customers can also collect change at the hub, which is located in Strand Hall on Lawn Hill. Additionally, customers of all major banks and building societies can access cash services via the Post Office counter.
The hub features a community banker and a private space for more complex banking needs. A representative from different banking institutions will be available each day: Barclays on Mondays, Santander on Wednesdays, NatWest on Thursdays, and Lloyds on Fridays.
