Police are appealing for witnesses and any information following a serious road traffic collision on Newton Road, Torquay at the junction with Shiphay Lane at 9.15am on Wednesday 28th August 2024.
The collision involved a silver Citroen C3 and a mobility scooter. A 79 year old male was taken to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with injuries thought to be life threatening.
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
