Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery on a woman in Paignton.
At around 7pm on Friday 1 March, a woman was approached by unknown man on Cadwell Road near to the junction on Torquay Road. The man tried to grab the woman’s handbag from her as she was getting into her car.
Having been unsuccessful, the man made off down Cecil Road.
He is described as a white male in his early 30s. He was approximately 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build. He was wearing a green waterproof hooded jacket, jeans, and trainers.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and has dashcam footage to come forward. Local residents with door camera footage are also being asked to get in touch via 101 or by visiting the police website quoting 50240050610.
