The burglary took place at a property on Babbacombe Road in Torquay at around midnight on Thursday 8 August.
It was reported that a man entered a residential property while its occupant was inside and stole a passport, bank cards and a musical instrument and its case.
Officers investigating the burglary would like to speak to the man pictured as it is believed he may be able to help with enquiries.
