Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in Torquay on Sunday 10 November.
Emergency services were called at around 12.55pm to the A379 Teignmouth Road where it was reported that a red Nissan Note had left the road and collided with a tree.
A man in his 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital with injuries believed to be life-changing. Sadly he later died in hospital
The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed.
