To commemorate the 85th Anniversary of the pre-WW2 Exeter Aerodrome being taken over and coming under RAF control for the duration of the War and it's lesser known but vital role during the Battle of Britain.

Learn about those who were involved and how the RAF defended the skies over the South West of England during that critical Summer of 1940.

Weather and operational availability permitting, a Hawker Hurricane will fly in for static display. Its pilot is the son of a Battle of Britain pilot who flew from RAF Exeter.
