Officers investigating a collision near Honiton, which occurred in May 2024, are appealing for information about a gold SUV which may have been in the area.
The collision which involved a black Suzuki motorbike occurred at around 5pm on Saturday 18 May 2024, near Wolford Cross Junction at Dunkeswell near Honiton.
The bike rider, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital in Bristol after he sustained life-changing injuries
Investigating officer, PC Chris Hogg said: “The bike rider suffered very serious injuries and in the 16 months since the incident has had an increased recollection of the collision. In recent months he had recalled a gold SUV travelling along the same road at the time of the collision.
“Gold is not too common a colour for a car and so we’re appealing for any information from anyone who owned or knows of anyone with a gold SUV that may have been in the Dunkeswell area that day. Equally, if you have any information which may be relevant or assist us, please get in touch.
“Officers from the Roads Policing team would like to thank the public for their assistance in this case, in advance.”
