People in Exeter are being reminded about changes to bin collection dates following next week’s Spring Bank Holiday.
Waste and recycling collections carried out by Exeter City Council’s crews will take place one day later than normal after Spring Bank Holiday Monday (28 May) and on the following days during that week.
This means that collections that were due on Bank Holiday Monday will now take place on Tuesday 28 May. For those whose bins were due to be collected on Tuesday 28 May, the collection will now be on Wednesday 29 May.
This pattern – which takes place following bank holidays – will continue throughout the week, so that the last delayed collection will see bins that should have been collected on Friday 31 May now collected a day later on Saturday 1 June.
Collections will be back to normal on Monday 3 June.
