A man has been jailed after cash, cannabis and ketamine were found during a search of his property in Exmouth.
Morgan Fellows, aged 21 of Fraser Road, Exmouth, was convicted of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs – ketamine and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs – cannabis.
He was sentenced at Exeter Crown Court on Wednesday 29 October to 20 months in prison.
In June of this year, officers from the Drugs Pro-Active Unit in Exeter executed a search warrant at Fellow’s address and found 17g of ketamine and 113g of cannabis with a combined street value of £1,780. Officers also found over £900 cash.
DC Ann-Marie Warren said: “Fellows is the latest person to be brought to justice for their involvement in drug dealing on the streets of Devon. We won’t tolerate drug supply in our area and I this sentencing acts as a deterrent to other drug dealers.
“We will continue to proactively target those responsible via both visible patrols and covert tactics, aimed at disputing and pursuing offenders.
“I would ask our communities to continue to support us in our efforts and encourage anyone who has any information about drug dealing to contact us so that we can take positive action.”
If you have information about potential drug dealing in you area, you can use the online reporting tool on the Devon & Cornwall Police website, or call 101. If a crime is taking place, call 999.
