People are being invited to take part in two community tree planting events in Exeter.
The events are taking place on Wednesday and Thursday 26 and 27 March at Clifton Hill and Bromhams Farm playing fields in the Riverside Valley Park.
Both events have been organised by ParkLife South West , in conjunction with Exeter City Council, which owns the land, and Devon County Council. Funding for the trees has come from the Local Authority Treescapes Fund.
Tree planting gets underway at Clifton Hill on Wednesday 26 March. People can turn up at any time between 10am and 3pm.
Those attending are advised to wear work clothes and sturdy footwear and bring gardening/work gloves. Tools will be provided but people can bring their own spade if they wish.
