Labour retains Exeter seat

The people of Exeter have cast their votes, and Labour has successfully retained the constituency seat which they have held since 1997.

Steve Race stepped in as the Labour candidate after long-serving MP Ben Bradshaw decided not to seek re-election, ending his tenure that began in 1997.
