This year the Exeter group celebrates its 30th anniversary with a week of activities in September which are open to members of the public.
Research shows that people who keep mentally, physically and socially active live longer, happier, healthier lives.
Exeter u3a - run by members, for members - offers a range of opportunities for doing just that.
With activities ranging from Singing to Scrabble and Craft to Canoeing, its 700+ members enjoy a variety of options for living by the national u3a mantra; Learn, Laugh, Live.
This year the Exeter group celebrates its 30th anniversary with a week of activities in September which are open to members of the public.
It kicks off with an Open Day at St Stephen’s Church in the High Street on Thursday 19 September and continues with a variety of free taster events around the city.
These include activities relating to Dance, Languages, Gardening, Local History, Pickleball, Science.
Walking and more. Anyone is welcome to come along and see what it’s all about.
