Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision involving a van and a pedestrian in Exeter.
Officers were called at around 7.50pm on Thursday 28 March to the incident involving an adult female and a silver Ford Transit van on Sidmouth Road.
South West Ambulance Service personnel and police officers attended the scene. The female was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital initially but then transferred to Derriford Hospital. She suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital for treatment.
