People in Exeter who vote by post are being asked to renew their postal vote applications.

Those who applied for a postal vote before 30 January 2024, will need to reapply by 31 January 2026 to continue voting by post.
The quickest way to renew is online via Apply for a postal vote – GOV.UK.
People can also download a paper form from the Electoral Commission or request one via the following contact form (select ‘Other Service’).
The City Council is contacting all postal voters by email where possible. The messages will come from electoral.services@exeter.gov.uk with the subject line Exeter City Council – Postal Vote Renewal Notice.
If the Council doesn’t have a voter’s email address, or hasn’t received a response, a letter will have been sent in the post.
The Council’s Electoral Services team is asking people who receive an email or letter by post to respond as soon as possible and renew their postal vote if they wish to do so.
With elections due in May next year, now is the time to act.
