Developers planning to turn a tumbledown vicarage in Dawlish into a group of new homes have been given the thumbs-up by local residents. Every comment on the plan on the Teignbridge Council website is in support of the proposal.

Five new electronics and tech donation points are launching in libraries across Devon. People will be able to bring tech items they no longer use to be refurbished. Once refurbished, items are donated to those experiencing digital poverty.  

Nine in every ten pupils due to start primary schools in Devon this September will hear today (Thursday 16 April) that they've been allocated places in their preferred mainstream schools.
