In local Devon Cricket on Saturday in the premier league Exmouth recovered from last weeks defeat to beat Paignton by 8 wickets at Queen's Park , Exeter overcome visiting Heathcoat by 5 wickets at the County ground but Sidmouth lost by 3 wickets at Creedy park to west Devon side Sandford.
In the A division Torquay/Kingskerswell lost by 30 runs to visitors Plymouth at the Recreation ground while in division B Budleigh Salterton convincingly beat Chudleigh by 92 runs at the Holt , Cullompton had a 8 wicket victory over Bideford /Westward Ho! at Duke street, but Clyst St George narrowly lost by 25 runs at Stoke Gabriel and a poor batting performance by Teignmouth/Shaldon saw them beaten by 68 runs at Bovey Tracey but Barton cc had a 31 run victory over visiting Ipplepen at Cricketfield road .
In the C division East Ottery St Mary picked up a 20 point victory over host Heathcoat second eleven by 74 run's and Alphington/Countess Wear beat visitors Budleigh Salterton second eleven by 52 runs at the Chronicles.
Lastly in division D east Topsham St James lost by 3 wickets in a low scoring game at Whimple cc while Upottery lost by 70 runs to Shobrooke park at Glebe park
