On Saturday local cricket was once again affected by the weather with several matches being held with reduced overs or postpone
In the Tolchard Devon premier league Exmouth gained a 3 wicket victory in a restricted overs game at Instow over North Devon by but Sidmouth's game at Heathcoat was abandoned after just 6 overs .
In the A division Budleigh Salterton drop into the relegation zone after a 3 wicket defeat at home to visitors Torquay and Clyst st George go bottom easily beaten by 8 wickets at Kilmington but in division B Cullompton beat visiting Sandford second eleven by 97 runs at Duke Street.
Finally the D division East Topsham st James had a narrow 1 run victory at the University sports ground over visitors Feniton .
There was one late local cricket result in the Tolchard Devon cricket league division C east where Ottery st Mary beat Uplyme and Lyme Regis away by 6 wickets although interrupted by rain the match was played to a finish.
