Local football fixtures for this weekend

In local football on Saturday our teams will be hoping for an improvement in the weather conditions after the past few weeks of rain and wind caused massive postponements.

Exmouth Town will be hoping for a better start to 2024 and look for points to pull away from the relegation spot but have a difficult start with a visit this week from league leaders Wimborne Town to Southern road .

In the Peninsula league east Axminster Town welcome south Devon side Dartmouth Utd to Tigers Way, Sidmouth Town host Torridgeside afc at Manstone lane and Teignmouth FC have home advantage over visiting Okehampton Argyle to Coombe Valley but second placed Crediton Utd travel to Plymouth to play Elburton Villa at Haye road. 

In the A&S Devon league Beer Albion entertain Feniton FC at Stovar lane , Budleigh Salterton visit south Devon side Bere Alston , Topsham Town travel to Plymouth to take on University side Marjons but Ottery St Mary host North Molton fc at Washbrook Meadow .

In the Devon and Exeter leagues in the premier division Colyton FC welcome Kentisbeare to the Peace Memorial ground while Upottery have home advantage with the visit of Clyst Valley to Glebe. Park .

In division one Dawlish Utd host Bow AAC at the leisure centre, East Budleigh take on Ottery St Mary reserves at the recreation ground and Lympstone Utd welcome Teignmouth second eleven to the Marine camp. While in division two Seaton Town entertain Tipton St John but Exmouth Spartans travel to West Devon side South Zeal . Finally in division 6 Ex Dons host Otterton FC at the Commons grounds.
