Local football report from the weekend

A round up of all the local football results from the weekend.

In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town dropped to the bottom of the Southern league one south after losing to Yate Town at their Lodge Road ground by 4 goals to 1 after going 3 down after just 25 minutes and although Ben Steer pulled one back before the break Yate sealed victory with a fourth at the death.

In the FA vase all our Peninsula league clubs were eliminated while in the league fixtures , on Friday night Honiton Town drew 2 all with Cullompton Rangers at the Memorial ground and on Saturday Sidmouth Town also drew with visitors Stoke Gabriel and Torbay police by 1 goal apiece at Manstone Lane. 

In the A&S Devon league Budleigh Salterton lost 2-0 at Plymouth side Mount Gould fc, Ottery St Mary were hammered 6-0 in north Devon by North Molton SC and Beer Albion went down by 2 goals to 1 away to Plymouth University side Marjons.

Finally in the Devon and Exeter league premier division Colyton fc lost 3-0 at Winkleigh afc , and in the first division Lympstone Utd were beaten 2-1 by visiting St Martins at the Marine Camp.

In the second division Tedburn St Mary were hammered 6-0 by Exeter side Central fc but Exmouth Spartans managed a 2 all draw at Clyst Valley while in the division 6 Otterton beat visitors Cheriton Fitzpaine reserves 3-1 and Ex Don's had a 3-2 away victory over Exeter Royals but Axmouth Utd were beaten at home 3-0 by City Raiders.
