Rundown of the Weekends Football Results

In local football on Saturday in the Southern League One South it was second v third when Exmouth Town welcomed Evesham Utd to Southern Road and with a close game expected it proved to be correct as at the final whistle the score remained nil nil and a fair result.

In the Peninsula League East Honiton Town drew 1 each with visiting Bridport FC and Bovey Tracey also shared the points with North Devon side Torridgside FC 2 all.

In the A & S Devon League Beer Albion beat Ipplepen Athletic 5-0 at Stovar Lane, Budleigh Salterton won 5-1 against Exeter University at Greenway Lane, league leaders Alphington stay top with a 5-0 victory over visitors Elmore Utd at Church Road but Topsham Town were beaten 3-1 by South Devon side Dartmouth at the Coronation Ground with Ottery St Mary being held to a 2 all draw by North Molton SC at Washbrook Meadow.
