A round up of this weekends local rugby results.
In local rugby on Saturday in the Regional one south west after losing their 100 % record last weekend Exmouth Cockles failed to bounce back when they lost to a well drilled Barnstaple side by 26 points to 3 at Imperial Road. While in Regional two Sidmouth maintained their unbeaten record when they thrashed Cornish side Truro 61-12 at the Blackmore field and Cullompton continued their climb up the table with a convincing 33-12 victory over visitors Chard. Crediton moved up to third place beating Wellington 26-12 at Exhibition ground, but early league leaders Topsham's poor run continues when they were well beaten 33-14 by fellow Devonians Teignmouth at Bitton Park.
In Counties one Western West Tiverton narrowly lost in Cornwall to St Ives by 27 points to 22 and in Counties 2 Devon Withycombe lost 24- 17 to an improving South Molton at Unicorn Park. Exeter Saracens easily beat North Tawton at Taw Green 31-0 and Honiton had a home walkover over Ivybridge second fifteen.
Finally in Counties 3 Devon north and east Exeter Athletic lost heavily by 48-15 to Cullompton seconds at Stafford Park with Crediton Quins running out comfortable winners 48-7 at New Cross. Next week sees the first seasonal break with just one local fixture when Cullompton pay a visit to North Petherton
