A round up of all the local rugby action from the weekend.

In local rugby on Saturday once again the weather caused several cancellations due to frozen pitches and Exmouth Cockles game at Launceston was one of them .

In the Regional two south west Sidmouth had a runaway victory over visitors Newton Abbot by 76 points to 5 at the Blackmore ground and move to the top of the division while Teignmouth had  a much closer game beating Cullompton by just one point in a 30-29 win at Bitton Park and Topsham narrowly beat visitors Crediton 39-31 at the Bonfire field.

In Counties one Western West Tiverton easly overcame visiting North Devon side Bideford 48-7 at Bolham Road but in Counties 2 Devon Withycombe lost to Honiton 14-3 at Raleigh Park and Exeter Saracens were beaten 41-32 at the Rectory by Devonport Services second fifteen .

Finally in Counties 3 Devon north and east Exeter Athletic lost 32-30 in a close game  at Oil Mill Lane to Tiverton Quins.
