Run down of the weekends football games

In local football on Saturday Exmouth Town moved into the next round of the FA Cup with a narrow 1-0 victory over visitors Street FC at Southern Road courtisey of a Tom Bath goal but the result should have been much larger as Street finished the game with just 9 men.

In the PeninsulaLeague East Axminster Town were put to the sword by a rampant Cullompton Rangers by 11 goals to nil at Tigers Way, Crediton Utd lost to Plymouth side Elburton Villa 5-3 at Lords Meadow, Sidmouth Town had a deserved 6-2 home victory against visiting Stoke Gabriel/T P at Manstone Avenue while TeignmouthFC  overcame Dorset side Bridport FC 2-0 at St Mary's.
