Still chance to get tickets for Red Roses rugby international in Exeter

Tickets are still available for England Women’s clash with the USA at Sandy Park at the weekend. The Red Roses are heading to Exeter for the fixture on Saturday, September 3, at 3pm, as part of their build-up to this year’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Council Leader Phil Bialyk welcomed their return to Sandy Park. He said: “The fact that the Red Roses are bringing international rugby back to Exeter is great news for the city.

“It adds to Exeter’s growing reputation as a city of sport and physical activity, and I am delighted that so many people will get the opportunity to watch top class women’s rugby once again in the city.”

Tony Rowe OBE, Chairman and Chief Executive of Exeter Rugby Club, added: “As a club we are delighted to be welcoming the Red Roses back to Devon once again. The rise of the Women's game in England is there for all to see and here in Exeter we are helping play our part in that growth.

“Not only have we welcomed record-breaking Red Roses crowds to Sandy Park in the past, but our own women's team are growing year on year and there is a real hunger and passion for the women's game here in the region.”

Tickets for the Sandy Park fixture start from £10 for adults and £5 for Under-12s, and are available to buy online
