Officers from the Neighbourhood Team supported by colleagues from the Neighbourhood Support Team and Proactive Team executed a warrant at an address in Torquay Town Centre.
Having forced entry to the location, a number of bags of Class A and Class B drugs were found along with a number of serious bladed articles which are prohibited under the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 - often referred to as 'Zombie Knives'.
A 32 year old male has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries at this time.
This warrant follows another we executed on Tuesday 24th September 2024 where a small quantity of Class A drugs were found. Enquiries are ongoing to identify a suspect for this matter.
It is important that we remove these items from our streets and to that end, we continue to encourage the public to work with us and report any suspicious behaviour or concerns they have.
