Jordan Honey, 28, no fixed abode, has appeared at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on, Wednesday 22 October, after being charged with a number of offences including attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody to next appear at Exeter Crown Court on 20 November.
It follows an alleged incident in the Wellswood area of Torquay at around 3.15am on Saturday 18 October which resulted in a woman sustaining stab wounds to her hands.
