Teignbridge District Council are supporting 32 new arts and culture projects across the district with funding provided by the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Applications for the council’s Teignbridge Arts Project (TAP) grants opened earlier this year with the aim of supporting, promoting, and encouraging more people to get involved in local arts and culture.
Over 90 applications for the funding were received and the council have been able to support 32 projects with over £260,000 in grant funding.
From the diverse range of projects, the panel chose ones that encouraged participation, strengthened community, fostered a sense of local pride or enhanced wellbeing.
There’s something for everyone, from performance-based theatre, dance workshops, drumming sessions, community events to walking and poetry tours.
More information about the individual projects can be found on the council’s website.
