Police are investigating a report of assault in Torquay and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to a report of fighting on Fleet Street, Torquay, at around 11.30pm on Friday 2 May.
A man sustained head injuries which are not thought to be life threatening, or life changing and was taken to hospital for treatment.
An 18-year-old man from Paignton has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He remains in police custody.
