Police are appealing for witnesses and any information following a serious road traffic collision in Dawlish on Wednesday 13 November.
Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a blue Peugeot and a mobility scooter on Exeter Road, Dawlish, at around 11.55am.
Emergency services attended the scene.
A woman in her 80s was taken to Derriford Hospital with potentially life changing injuries.
The driver of the car was not injured.
The road has been closed in both directions. It is expected to be re-opened this evening.
