An unauthorised Traveller encampment has been established on a field at Exeter Skypark, close to Exeter Airport.
Photographs show more than a dozen caravans and vehicles at the site, along with several ponies.
The latest encampment comes less than a week after an incident involving a group of Travellers and members of the public at Heavitree Pleasure Grounds.
Video footage of the confrontation was shared online by Neil Martyn, who claimed he was threatened after asking people to move from a pedestrian path. In the footage, a woman can be seen standing in front of a van while making a phone call as the vehicle slowly moves towards her. She appears to shout the words, "just hit me", before the driver exits the vehicle, shouting, "You're blocking us in." The driver then returns to the van, which is towing a caravan, and slowly moves it forward again.
Earlier this year, in May, police were called following reports of anti-social behaviour after another Traveller encampment was set up in the Heavitree area. Local residents made a number of allegations about the behaviour of individuals at the site, including claims of indecent and nuisance behaviour. These allegations have not been independently verified.
Police attended the scene following reports from residents, with vehicles reportedly occupying parts of the Park area.
