Police are appealing for footage and information following the theft of a pregnant heifer in East Devon.
At some point over the last month, the Ayrshire cross pedigree heifer – weighing 550kg – was stolen from Deptford Farm, not far from Pennymoor and Nomansland.
The heifer is red/white in colour and was one of over 350 cows at the farm.
There are concerns for the pregnant animal’s wellbeing following her theft.
Anybody who witnessed or has footage of any suspicious behaviour in the area such as the moving of trailers in the night, is asked to get in touch.
We are also asking anybody with any information that may assist in returning the heifer to her home, to call 101 or visit the Police website quoting 50260274981
