- are medically dependent on water, electricity or gas
- of pensionable age
- have children aged five or under at home
- have a mental health condition
- have a cognitive condition that affects memory, understanding, concentration or decision-making
- temporarily need extra support after leaving hospital or a bereavement
- need additional communication support due to hearing or visual impairment or English is not your first language
It’s easy to join the PSR
It only takes a few minutes to join the PSR. You can register through your local electricity network operator. Your details can then be shared with participating utility companies, so you don’t need to register with each organisation. Including:
Your energy supplier (the company you pay your bills to)
Your local gas network (they manage the networks that deliver gas to your home)
Your water company (they supply clean drinking water to homes and treat wastewater before returning it safely to nature).
